Complete LSA Motor Swap into Escalade? I am looking at selling my 07 Escalade and purchasing an 09 to 13 Escalade EXT. My question is, is it possible to do a complete LSA motor swap into the Escalade? I am not wanting to just put a supercharger on it. I have had two 07 Escalades now and am so sick of piston slap. I want a brand new motor. I have read people putting the LSA supercharger on the L92 and L94 but have never read anything about a complete LSA motor swap. I don't have a problem doing the work, I am just not knowledgeable if it can be done and what it would entail.

Whats a l94? Hadnt heard of that. I have a 09 escalade, and personally, i believe you need to go straight to turbo, or really BIG blower..... i think you need an additional 300hp to make a "big"difference.....the lsa/ls9 blower will be maxed out.
I don't see why not, I put a LSA supercharger on a LY6 6.0 in a 2000 S-10 and the stock hood clears no problem. The biggest obstacle I see if wiring in wiring and the tune but it definitely doable. Installing the complete LSA engine is no different than installing the LSA supercharger on another 6.0 or 6.2 engine and swapping it in.

Sorry, I don't agree with that... 2007 Yukon Denali here and I'm running an LSA blower and making more than 300hp over stock. At first I installed the LSA blower on my stock bottom end L92. The mains were worn and sloppy at 155k miles so I decided to build a forged iron block Gen III bottom end and port my blower. Currently running a .005" over 6.0L block with a 4" stroke (402"). Lunati crank/rods and Wiseco pistons, rebuilt my L92 heads with BTR springs and upgraded valves. BTR Stage 3 PDS Cam, Ported LSA blower (ZL1 Lid, 14-15 psi), 2.5" Upper/10% over lower, 1000cc FIC injectors, Kooks 1 7/8" Headers/Y pipe, Custom blower chiller and just started running E85 last week. I was making 850-900hp on pump gas and probably closer to 980hp-1000hp on E85 with my chiller. I'd say it does the trick and I built it for less than a new LSA crate engine would cost... The 1.9L blower can do a lot more than people think with a little work and I've seen lots of CTS V guys upgrade to a larger blower and then go back to the 1.9L. I'm not saying anything bad about a turbo setup but if the OP wants a supercharged LSA setup, it will certainly make enough power if he wants. I've considered switching to turbos but I love the instant torque of that blower, it lights up all 4 tires with ease and gets my 6k LB truck moving pretty damn fast. I ran a 12.24 @ 113 with a 800ms 2-3 shift hesitation (now shifts at 150ms) and a crap 1.8 sec 60' because it was lifting the front tires. Double adjustable coil overs up front and double adjustable shocks in the rear and I'm in the low 11s with ease and that's on pump gas, not E85. Just sayin...
