Thanks! 20+ psi and the CR is 8.5:1. I wonder if I can run 87 octane on that with the boost off?

Here are some pics of the motor with the headers (the y-pipe still needs to be coated and we need to make a mount for the T91).

Thanks for letting me share (and vent)!

We're actually using the Gen7 DFI and Rob knows a guy who does this and specializes in turbo applications. We're going to tune it for 101 unleaded race gas and see what she does. When I'm not using race gas, the turbo boost will go all the way down so I can run it on 91. That's the plan though! If need be, we can always add an alchy injection kit but I am hoping to avoid that for now.

I was wondering what you are going to do for a radiator? I can clearly see that plans for A/C aren't present. But I was wondering about the damned radiator!

If you think this is going to be a street car you're going to want to look into a weldon dial-a-flow or an aeromotive pump control for those bad boys. I've had several A1000's burn up on the street, they don't like running for prolonged periods of time.

Funny you mention this - I just bought a Griffin 2-row that is 27.5x15.5. Should keep things cooler then stock.

As far as the fuel pumps burning out, I will check with Rob on this. Thanks for the heads-up, though!
