Default Procharger Head Unit Impeller slack/play (Solved)

How much is normal, or is this normal at all?
I can turn the impeller by hand about 1/8th" of an inch in either direction before the pulley engages and the belt stops me.

I'm new to having a procharger - Is any amount of this normal, or should it be a "0 slack" kind of deal?
The unit has no other "play" - no back and forth, no side to side.

I don't know how much is "normal", but what you're seeing is the backlash in the internal gear train. All gear trains MUST have at least some backlash in order to operate properly.

It should have no side or front to back. Personally never spun the blade when I had a f1r so cant answer that.

The pully itself came loose - i hit it with some blue loctite this time.
Once I tightened it, there was still some play, but minimal/almost none.

I just didn't think to check the pully itself before I made this post... silly me. It was late at night, didn't wanna deal with it. :-)

Thanks for the reminder!! Luckily the bolt holding the pulley didn't come off, it kind of just stayed in very lightly threaded. Hand loose.

Got lucky this time..
