Water pump recomendations
Water pump recomendations Need to see if anybody can tell me what water pump will work with spacing for GTO accessories where the radiator hose uses the top to exit the pump instead of coming straight out the front.
And problem with the up facing water pump is it hits the intake/throttle body IIRC. So the fbody/gto accessory spaced pumps exit out the front and not the top.
maybe there is something out there... but if there is... I don’t think it’ll work with the ls1/ls6/ls2/ls3 intakes.
As i remember the top outlet was truck only, but has the same spacing as 2010-2015 camaros.
If using an LS6 intake (dont know about LS1), and a truck WP, you have to use like a truck throttle
body, it has the shorter linkage (3" vs 3,5") and can clear the WP outlet-they also make 1/2" spacers.
Using like a 2011 Silverado WP the outlet is tilted, and can help clearance.
