Turbo size ideas

Turbo Even if I'm only gonna run 10Lbs. ? I'm looking for 1000hp. Not looking for max effort. I thought some t4s were capable of a 1000hp. So it's because of back pressure? Can I fix that with bigger exhaust, or does it bottleneck coming out of the turbo ?

Small cubic inches make a lot more power with a given turbo.
Larger engines are pushing a lot more exhaust volume for the amount of boost they are making, meaning a high backpressure ratio. It makes it hard to make power.
Turbos being more efficient usually at higher pressure ratios doesn't help with their power production at 10 PSI either.
Just because a T4 can make 1200+ HP at the wheels on a 4.8 doesn't mean it can even make 1000 at the wheels on a 438.
You're going to need a T6, or twin T4s.

I wouldn't go smaller then 100mm turbine on 438ci. Solutions below... Garrett 102/112 and the VSR is 102/113, good price point on the Garrett for sale.

Tirbo Thank you both. I'm gonna take a look at those turbos. I was under the impression that turbos that big were laggy. Maybe not so much cause of the cubic inches ?
LOL, I think the lightest ~950whp turbo is about 25lbs, but weight goes up pretty fast with the larger turbines. You can shed some weight with the stainless v-band housings, they can be 10-15lbs lighter in some cases.
