Finally happened.....
Finally happened..... Spun a rod bearing. I was only running 6#s of boost. Shop said that it probably wasn't the blower? Anyways, just looking for advice on a decent budget build up, nothing too ***** to the wall. My goals are 600rwhp and it is a 95% street car. Looking to spend around 8-10k. Would like to be around 10-12 psi. Only mods were exhaust and the procharger.
Here's my opinion:
unported, unpolished 6.0 heads
forged pistons and rods
stock crank
bigger injectors
long tubes
twin intank pumps
bigger cam
steel ati bracket (would it be nessacery?)
8rib (would it be nessacery?)
new spal fans
spec 3
I did some research through the forum and this is my conclusion. Hopefully some of you more experienced guys will chime in. If there is anything else you would change, please enlighten me.
