Scavenge pump. Hi everyone,
20 years ago I have dyno a STS remote turbo kit, it work but was not great ( I`m tacking about the oil systeme only) I would like to now in 20years what new in low mount scavenge pump world. I'm not a huge fan of remoted turbo, (I dont want to start a debate about that) but sometime be able to mount the turbo lower would help kip stuff simpilier and organise in the engine bay, easyer to work on, have less heat in the engine bay and save cutting and mod stuff you would regret lather or ruin your invesment.
I have try to find new stuff on this subjet but nothing really catch my attension. I was expection something mecanical and robust that we can easy add to the assesory drive, like a mod power steering pump, something that follow the engine rpm. Electric scavenge pump would be great, if you prove me they are realeble. I'm not looking for something that would change the way I use de the car.
I would like to ear from experience owner that run day car on D/D base and not only a sunday 10 milles ride. Pic of your install, recommendation, part number use, usage of the car, problem you got, brand or thing to avoid, your maintenace shcedule of the scavage pump, Km the pump last, ect ect.
