Default ALMOST DONE WITH BOOSTED 5.3 build. THOUGHTS?

all of this is going into an 88 Foxbody T top
AJE K Member and tubular Control arms.

Strange Coil over kit and Springs

SO, here are my Engine mods so far.....

gen 3 5.3 block.

Texas speed 799 stage 2.5 heads.. milled .030 to 60CC (had to do that in order to clean them up)

PAC .660 dual springs and Titanium Retainers.

Summit Pro LS forged rods

DSS Racing SX Forged Pistons 15CC Dished.

CAM MOTION turbo cam 220-224 155+5

NO AC and am using a manual rack

NOW,,,,, WHAT HEAD GASKET????

I can run the Brian Tooley 4.100 bore .055 thickness for a 8.766 compression


IS THAT TOO low? THOUGHTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE

going to run a th400 2500-3000 stall (IDK YET)

planning on using the holley Terminator X system

I am on the list to buy a twin turbo kit from huron speed.
or i can buy their T6 kit when it comes out.

Casey told me both of these kits on going to be for sale soon

or i can guy the t4 kit that on3 already sells for it.....

guys at on3 said i could be around 900hp with a t4 7675

Why such low compression? Bad gas?

I only have access to 93 octane. No E85.... and I went with the 15CC dished for the reason if I can play with my head gasket thickness enough and stay in the boosted compression range. I can get it up with gasket thickness.

Even with 93 only you don't need compression that low unless you want to run 25+ psi on 93 only lol. Run a cheap water math kit. It sounds like pistons are done anyways so just run a good quality gasket and don't try to run something thick either.
