S197 5.3 wastegate placement !? I’m on motion Raceworks about to order the 2.5” diy builder stainless kit with the T6 flange for my vs80 turbo. I wanna make about 7-800hp maybe more and I have the fuel for it. So I’m thinking twin 44mm vs wastegates ?? Or one single 44mm or 50mm? I’m just going to use springs in the gate until I can afford to put a boost controller in.
can you guys drop some pics of your wastegate placement , your piping sizes , your wastegate size and 1 or 2 of them , and where your flex is in the hotside crossovers ??
also the end of my truck manifolds measure 2.25” , what is the best thing to do to weld the 2.5” to it ? Just get a 2.25-2.5” piece and weld it in between them?
