Frozen Boost Aie to Water Intercooler
Frozen Boost Aie to Water Intercooler Running into space issues on my 69 Camaro RS. The headllights are causing all kinds of space and cold side plumbing issues. Looking at the Frozen Boost Air to Water kits and wondering if anyone has used them and can give any feedback as to quality and performance. This is a street car in the 700 to 800 hp range.

One of my friends uses a huge frozen boost intercooler on his ride and it works pretty good. It isn't being taxed though its there 2000hp cooler and he is barely making 900rwhp. Had it on his ride for over a year street driving and roll racing it hard. No failures.
I've used their stuff as well as the identical stuff you can get on ebay for cheaper. I use two of the "1200hp rated" cores and on ~25lbs IAT's go up less then 5 degrees. So they work, but I wouldn't trust the ratings, use larger then they say you need if you want good results.
