LS1 intake questions

LS1 intake questions Slowly gathering parts, looks like I will be using an LS1 intake this time. Couple questions.
(1) The MAP sensor hole is in the rear, will the GM 2525 fit there, or something that works with Holly X
(2) I have the orig fuel rail, so prob use that, and a reg, dead head it. Do I need to do anything to
that round thing (for a better word) thats on there, I know its not a reg, some kind of buffer???
