Default Finally finished my project....

http://www.forcefedfab.com/images/PI...a/turbota.html

It runs insane. Im still testing it out as I go...1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear traction limited, at 4 psi. First night out we had it at 12 psi and it was insane, but too much without doing some tuning first.

I will be having it on a wideband to make sure whats going on with the fueling. AFter some bigger injectors and tuning the boost will go up.

What FMIC is that and do you have any pictures of the IC from the Pass. side???? I am needing some of the piping on the Pass. side to help me out when i do mine. Do you have any pics from underneath? Awsome job.

I'm not a turbo guy by any stretch, how does your downpipe route?

Setup looks nice, my FMIC is routed similarly for my supercharged setup and it works great.

I agree.. great work man! Now I am really jealous!

The HP kit has the turbo where yours is... definitely a good spot, allows for good oil return flow, and room for some growth.
I see you put a stress relief in there for expansion and such... I think I should have as well.

Where did you get your silicone?

Thanks,

-Jarrod

Thx. It is a custom intercooler I had my guys make. Im not sure of the over all dimentions but I know the core is 26 x 12.

I have pics of the IC piping but I don't see how it will help you in anyway being that where my compressor discharge is, differs from yours so it would be completely different. If you don't have any way to build this kind of piping I am willing to help out but you gonna have to come to Houston

I don't have any good ones from underneath, I did it all with the car on jackstands, so the camera doesn't get very good shots at the distance it could get. I'll try to get it on a lift and get a good shot.

The downpipe is going straight down to the bottom of the car, it runs underneatht he K-member, as much as people raise their eyebrows at this, I have run this setup on many cars with great success. Some even lowered.

I plan on producing the kits for those who are interested. I will need to get some more results from my prototype first however.

BTW the turbo is a "large" frame T72. Its a custom assembly by my suppliers.

Yea, thx man. The turbo gets GREAT return oil flow, never any drain issues. I did run a stress relief being that the engine will torque over some and I didn't want to impose any restrictions to the movement of the motor which the piping would have to account for.

I got all my silicone connectors and such from one of my suppliers. If you are looking for a great selection I have had good luck with www.atpturbo.com in the past.

Cool thanks man..... i know it wont really help me out much..... im going with the same FMIC as PSJ amd BIGBOS. Are you using T-Bolt type clamps now?/ I was on that site you posted last night and i think im going to order some of there piping and couplers. Whats size is it coming out od the TB to the MAF?? Im thinking of using there 3" piping and a buddy of mine is going to weld it all for me. How was the shipping from them? Fast Exspesive?
Thanks

it is a 4inch pipe before the MAF, 3 inch afterwards.

They ship stuff pretty fast, the cost was the same as usuall, 7-8 bucks for shipping.
