New - ATI Fbody Tensioner J Bracket
Looks like ATI has a new style J Bracket with a spring loaded tensioner for the Fbody. Appears to be well designed and uses just one idler pulley compared to the Aster Bracket that uses two fixed idler pulleys. I currently have the Aster Bracket on my Camaro.
Can't tell from the pics, but appears that it is easier to install the belt if there is a space to put a wrench on the tensioner so it can be pulled to create slack to remove or install the belt.
Be interesting to see if there is any belt slip with it and what belt sizes are available. It's hard to tell from pic if the fixed idler pulley can be moved for different belt lengths.

The SD Concepts tensioner is $695 and the Aster Bracket with LS2 water pump is $1100. The Aster tensioner bracket installation requires a change to an LS2 water pump due to clearance issues near the bell on the water pump.
The original fbody ATI J bracket assembly if purchased separately with standoffs, tensioner and misc bolts, nuts etc is $484.
IMO it's the J bracket in all three kits that is the most costly item to mfg. You have to have a large production run in order to get the cost per unit down. IMO there isn't enough demand nowdays to justify producing a large number of custom j brackets for the Fbody so the cost per unit is higher as a result.
However, if you can gain an additional 50 rwhp with one of these kits that's about $20 per HP. IMO that's reasonable.
