Twins for LS Choice.. bad or ok.. Going twins so I can tuck them behind the motor to help balance the car better (2002 TA)
LS1 383 normal heads/cam/intake/4l80e about 10.2 compression guessing about 500crank hp.. goal about 1200-1300 crank hp under 25psi...
My initial choice was PT6266's they just make me a little nervous as far as support and stories you see on the internet etc...
So I found a deal on a couple of Garrett GTW3884R.
Looking at the compressor maps they are a little larger than I think I should be looking at, but they are BB so thinking maybe my spool will be ok..
80% 1/8 mile small tire, 20% putzing around and on and off the trailer.
Any thoughts or educated guesses out there if I am saving a few bucks but will be sick I did it?
