Flowtechs and steering shaft clearance questions?
Flowtechs and steering shaft clearance questions? Does anyone know, definitively, what's required to make the steering shaft and u-joint clear the Flowtechs as designed?
I've heard that you can cut up and re-weld the Flowtechs, but that's not really something I'm interested in.
I've read that you can change out the steering shaft and u-joint with some combination of Borgeson parts to help clear out this area in general, but can't find any specifics.
Supposedly the Motion "race" steering column helps, but I'm not really prepared to completely gut my car, at least for right now. Plus, I'm not 100% sure on if/how this works.
Anyone know, definitively, what's required to make these clear?
