i have been stressing over this lately, i have a pro dash which gives me a bunch more inputs but i need like 1 or two more outputs and the pro dash outputs only work via the screen buttons not over can
perfect timing!
Oh yes, I’m so excited they released this. My only gripe about the Terminator x on my turbo truck. This may be the last day for the haltech on my other car.

What's the gain for LS guys? Don't even remember when I updated mine. Every time I've looked at the update summary its all been for Mopar/Ford and LT crap so I haven't bothered.

In order to use the I/O expander, there is a firmware update required. For Dominator and HP ECUs, v6 build 200 added the I/O expander functionality. The TerminatorX v2 update should be out soon.

Gotcha, just thought more was being offered I wasn't aware of.
if the outputs had more current rating this would be a sweet rear bcm to eliminate having to run a bunch of wires front to back in the car. i might look around for some leds and stuff maybe i can use it for that anyway. my next project i want to have zero mechanical relays.

I've Holley many times to R&D a BCM...they have limited bandwidth and other things take priority.

i wish they would redo the smartwire firmware to make it into a holley product. i have one and it needs a $400 box to talk to a holley and you still can only send limited data one way.

coincidentally, i just saw a video on youtube this morning saying that a big firmware update for the smartwire is coming out very soon. still need that stupid $400 can box though.
