Huron V1 kit Radiotor
I've cut out the upper core support hoping I could stand the radiator up but its 1 inch to wide(PS hose nipple). The upper core is now a bolt in piece. How do I move the radiator and or fans with out spending a $700 on the set up?
If I have the stock radiator and fans as vertical as possible will the turbo not clear? Instructions show I need to put pusher fans in. I'm trying to do this as economical as possible.
My other issue is it mostly my daily in the summer so I cant get stuck and wait a week for parts. I have to install every thing in 1 day increments, prep my spare oil pan and swap it, install inter-cooler, figure out the radiator fan set up, relocate the alternator, upgrade the OS. The last thing will be the turbo and building the remaining exhaust to cat back. Without knowing what to do with the radiator is got me stuck. I can cut and weld with in reason.

I ran the V1 kit for years, its really built around the small TC7868 size turbos so if you're using something like a 7875 you'll have to move the radiator around.
I used a bolt in BeCool radiator on my 4th gen with the V1 kit but had to move the bottom of the radiator forward one inch and then cut out the back side of the upper core support and tucked the radiator inside the core support.
That allowed me space to fit a T7875 turbo....barely.
The fans will mount to the front of the radiator, if you have removed AC this will make it easier, I kept AC so the larger radiator was needed in the summer months.
I've got a build thread on here for it, 2002 Camaro SS AC Retaining Turbo Build I think its called, might help.
