truck manifold help i have a 99 bird that i am putting a truck manifold turbo kit on. i have a 03 4.8 block with a 2000 4l80e trans. i just installled a bmr k member and new oem style motor mounts. the manifolds are non egr from the 4.8. the driver side manifold is hitting the steering shaft. is that normal?

Depends on how bad the fitment is. if its not too bad, a lot of people use the tried and true method of bashing them with a sledge hammer. (I'm not kidding). If it's really bad you might have to alter the steering shaft geometry, use a double universal joint and a rod end for support. Basically, custom fabrication.
