Default New 408cu in procharger build.

Started the new years off right, with a car that came to my shop to be redone again. The last shop that built this car completely hacked it together. The fuel would boil, unsolved misfire issues, and they mounted the fuel filter inside the car on the wheel well. So if you ever had to check it, you’d get e85 everywhere. The car previously made right around 800ish with belt slip before spinning the main bearings.

Got the engine bay all detailed and the customer decided to put in a Midwest k member along with a set of ctsv front brakes.

what kind of shop puts the fuel filter inside the car? Jesus man. Glad the cars getting the attention it deserves.

It’s unbelievable what I see come out of these so called High performance shops…. Here is the fuel filter in the car and the fast intake that came apart.

That same shop let the car out the door with the -10 fuel line smashed between the engine and bell housing.

It's amazing that shops like that stay in business, you get what you pay for as well.
When that little known performance shop says they can perform the same work as the reputable shop for a significant savings, this is what happens....

Had time to get the new motor down in the car. The other issue I faced was the current alternator only uses 2 mounting bolts. “The customer didn’t want to go with an alternator that had the extra bolt on the mounting case”. This was causing the procharger to flex and throw belts. So I made a billet support that mounted to the head and supported the one side of the ict bracket.
