Procharger clocking question
Procharger clocking question Have a question about clocking on a P1sc/D1sc. Pretty odd that both units in question have same exact issue. I recently got a D1sc used. Unsure if it’s ever been popped open by a third party..Procharger states it’s 10o clock reverse (they last had it in 2010) and everything on the outside coincides with that, drain plug and tag). I did try to check, no way the case would come off.
my friend has been piecing a procharger build together on his vette with a P1sc for like a year and a half now. Was talking him a few days ago and SAME EXACT problem. Can’t get the case half to come off(these are both older units made in early 2000s). I got the bright idea of using the headunit mounting bolts as grab points and a locking vice grips slide hammer tool to try and get the case to pop and walk it off…any thoughts on this? If I could get my case off I’d love to verify my clocking is still the same as when procharger had it. My friend on the other hand is certain he needs to change his. Thoughts on how to get stuck cases to pop loose or has anyone done anything different?
