Rowing through the gears on my mild blown GTO Stock LS2 long block

So cool, having grown up during the muscle car era, there was nothing like rowing the gears on a nice straightaway. Man, add in the whine from a supercharger, what's better than that.

I'm lucky to have a lot of roads like that around here. 1-2 miles from my house and I'm only surrounded by corn or bean fields, nice straight roads without even many driveways.
I was REALLY happy with the car NA and even besides the cost was somewhat hesitant to put the blower on. But Magnuson was about to quit making the GTO kits so I decided I'd better do it if I was ever going to and I could always take it off. I kept all the NA stuff so I could switch back if I wanted to. At first the blower was somewhat disappointing but we figured out the problem and it has been nothing but SEGs ever since. I'm currently working on getting some wider tires under the rear (kind of a challenge on GTOs) and new tires all around. I will end up with a staggered 275 rear and 245 front set up on stock 18s (widened pair for the rear).
This video was with the drag radials on, it was nice to row through the gears without the rear getting squirrelly and sideways in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

So far the best quarter has been 12.6 @ 113 but that was on aged out street tires in cool weather. Now that it is warmer out and I have the drag radials on for a while I need to get new hopefully better times laid down.
