Default LS6 intake manifold (rear vacuum question)

I am about to install my LS66 intake manifold and have a question about the rear vacuum section. it isnt 'loose' but it does wiggle and spin. I am a little worried that it might leak. has anyone run into issues with this or am I being nervous over nothing?

Should I run it as is or run some JB weld (or something) around the lip and lock it all into place?

I plan to run about 15psi from an s480

Mine was loose, or enough to swivel, but never leaked. Guessing there was an o ring or something there.

Gotcha, thanks for the feedback. Im wondering if there is a downside to sealing it up before installing it just as a back up..

Just make sure you hook something up to all of the vacuum ports. Ive had my truck together for years and years. I tore it apart in the spring, and noticed for like the last 8 years, it's apparently had a small vacuum leak. There is a very small port below the large brake hose connector I completely missed, and tuned around it. SMH.

It was all good, never caused any issue, I am still surprised I never heard it, or struggled to make it idle correctly. I always wondered why I could never get the cam to sound right. 😂

It's okay, I'm a similar dipshit, I disconnected the reference line for my BRFPR and forgot to plug it back in.......twice.
