supercharge or not??

supercharge or not?? i need advice on deciding to supercharge my car. my car is full bolt on now and i was planning on going heads and cam. i figure i'll probably spend between 3 to 4 k on a really good combo that will give me the most performance. my other fbod buddy told me i should just spend the extra money and just go with a procharger. will i see more gain out of a procharger and full bolt on set up?? also if anybody knows how much do prochargers go for?? and lastly are they better than vortech?? H/C or FI really depends on your budget and what type of racing you plan on doing. If you want a track only type car that is going to be consistent I would probably go H/C + N20, for a car that is setup for the street I would go with a blower hands down. You can hardly even hear my D1SC until you stomp on it 
. Expect to spend $5-6K for a full blower setup. If you don't mind buying used and can install the kit you can save a fortune.
