Turbo drain location

Hey guys so I’m deciding where I want to put my drain fitting this is the oil pan I have I’m debating right where the white circle is somewhat above the oil level or would it be better in the same spot but moved back a little ( red spot ) pic down below

I bought a front cover from Motion Raceworks with a -10an fitting welded on. Works great

Depending on turbo and exhaust arrangement, that location doesn't always work. I bough a ICT Billet cover with oil drains and both of them are just capped off because I could not use them.

My phone won't open your Pic, but as long as it's above the oil level and where you need it to be its perfect.

I had a bung tapped into my timing chain cover. Placement can get tricky you have to think about where the main belt will go.

Check to see if you can put the drain in line with the main cap.
That prevents shooting oil into the crank throw and increasing windage.
