Better lsx rear cover setup
Make certain that you've clearanced the head of the allen plug so that it dosen't interfere with the rear cover mating to the block. Here's a tip....When replacing that tiny thin *** rubber gasket seal always apply either Permatex 80697 or 80065. This works well to keep the rubber seal in place when installing the rear cover back to the engine.
I don't know if any aftermarket cover, because as said if the gasket is replaced properly, and the cover is aligned, it doesn't leak. There may be a few people who complain about it, but there's a entire Facebook group dedicated to "Sloppy", so I'd guess, they are on there. Nothing wrong with that, just consider the source before saying it's a problem.
