Default 500 whp ls2

Hello y'all, new to the group. I'm building a vortec/ls 6.0. Its in a silverado year of 08. I want to push 500-550 at the wheel. Don't want to go into engine at all minus cam, pushrods, rockers, and springs. I want to keep everything internal wise stock. So far I have ported intake manifold, ported tb and cai. I want to do true dual Lt headers, high flow cats, glasspacks. And I understand that that alone won't help all that much. It might get me to 450 wheel? So I'm thinking of running dual 76 so that they don't spool quickly and absolutely destroy the motor with like 8 lbs boost and that should get me to my goal. And I wonder how high it could safely rev out to. And I was wondering if there's a way on the stock computer that you can have a multi position switch or something on it with two tunes a low boost at like 4 psi and a high at 8 psi if I have two tunes done. Thanks for y'all's time.

Single billet 7875 from VS racing will easily do the trick, spool quickly, make the power and be very easy to package.
A single 7875 will probably tap out rpm wise by 6,000 rpm but that's okay.
If you think you may want more hp in the future, I'd plan for a T6 flanged turbo like an S475 to get started, then you can upgrade to whatever your wallet and shortblock can afford lol. A good electronic boost controller can provide the necessary different boost profiles, my Cortex unit has six that I have set for a variety of different road conditions, extremely happy with it and their support.
Ditch the glass packs and use Magnaflows, they sound way better, also do an electric exhaust cutout for quiet cruising and loud turbo noises at will.

I don't want it to spool quickly that's why I want to dual 76 it. And the reason I want the glasspacks it is because I want it lounder because with the high flow cats and turbo it's going to be fairly quiet vs it's n/a counterpart. And the boost controller is nice but the stock computer, can I have two tunes on it without having to stop flash one for the new boost? Like is there a pin on jt for like a 2nd tune so that I can just have a switch on it and just switch on the go?

It won't spool too quickly, yes a single 7875 will come up on boost quickly but that's what you want in a heavy truck and that LS2 will just laugh at 8 lbs., a friend of mine ran 20+lbs. on an LS2 through a 4L80 and made just over 700whp.
The Magnaflows are a glasspack essentially, they flow straight thru but have a much better sound imho.
You can have two separate tunes but it's not necessary, if you're running pump gas for example, tune it for higher boost like 10-12 lbs. and then simply turn the boost down if you don't need it.
I'm not aware there's a switch you can setup to go between tunes, again you won't need to, just dial it back.
You'll want to have some type of controller unless you plan on running on just the wastegates, I ran on just the waste gates for a few years and then an EBC and what a difference it made.
If you plan on running different boost levels, you'll need one and trust me, no one ever just stays at one level.
Don't over think this, unless you're looking to race this truck, a 7875 is perfect, decent boost controller like an Innovate SCG-1 which has a built in AFR gauge would work well.
The next weak link will be the transmission if its a 4L60, if its a 4L80 you'll be in much better shape.
