Single vs twin turbos 416 Ls3 Im changing my procharger setup due to ridiculous head unit pricing and i never liked the noise at idle or the part throttle bov hissing. That being said im leaning towards a mid mount twin turbo setup with scavenging pump but have seen some Richard holdener videos that show slower boost with the twins vs a single. Ive always thought that the twins would spool quicker but after seeing that video im questioning that info. Im actually looking at running the same turbos that he tested 3582 but in a ball bearing version still Chyna.
Just looking for some real world info. Im looking to make around 1200rwhp when pushed and will likely run lower boost most of the time so spool is important and id rather dial it back on an ebc than have slow response.

I have a 73 chevelle wagon with a 5.3 sloppy stage 2 (Elgin xx40 ) and th400 converter flashes to 5000ish and twin eBay 3582s. They’re a light switch with this combo.
previously I had same motor with Elgin xx39 and manual trans and it was lazy as ****.

these particular units are rated to 800hp each with a 64mm wheel. The old aps twin turbos were 58mm units and they had a few over 1000rwhp. Kinda hard to compare your setup to mine ive got a t56 and 3.27 gears with a 416 but I appreciate the response.
