Input on Camshaft--going from turbo build to blower
My goal is 650-700rwhp now. If I don't make it.. I'll swap the lower pulley. To an 8.6 or 9.1"
I will be running flexfuel so e85 is possible(will be using a holley dual 450 pump for in tank)
Current combo as it will be going in:
LSX concepts LSA drive system with 180 amp alternator and late model PS pump 8 rib system. Will use stock LSA lower(7.8") and 2.45 upper
CTSV LSA blower with solid isolator, 1000cc injectors, reinforced brick.
LSA heads with BTR dual springs and steel retainers
BTR stage 2 turbo camshaft(226/231 on a 113, .610/.610 lift) and pushrods--cam is my biggest concern
Summit pro LS forged rotating assembly--9.5:1 compression arp studded mains and heads
LS9 Head gaskets
LS7 lifters from scoggin dickey
Stock rocker arms with CHE trunion upgrade
1 7/8" headers to 3" exhaust with X-pipe and magnaflow mufflers(may change to something else we will see)
4l80e automatic with 3200 stall triple disk converter and currently 4.10s in the rear that will likely go to 3.89s or 3.73s when I go to a 9"
Winters Shifter
Any input on cam? or any other parts of the build?.. I have to pull the pan anyway to go to an LS1 set up
I do want it to be a pretty mild cam.. smooth enough to where it's somewhat of a sleeper
You'll be able to sell the cam instantly on the used market so you might as well change it.
Just my $.02.
