Can’t make any boost
current setup:
-78/76 turbo
-dual 44mm wastegates
-eboost2 boost controller w/ 3 port mac solenoid
So my current issue is that I can only make around ~4-5psi of boost and I’m not sure why. Currently have 8psi springs in each. I’ve route the wastegates every plumbing way that possible with no luck. I’ve disconnected the boost controller and ran it only on gate pressure also with no luck. Tried different spring sizes and it did the same thing. All the diaphragms look good no rips or tears. Boost leak down test was perfect with no issues. Everything seems to be in working order but not working. If you guys have any ideas let me know!
What's a boost leak down test?
8# springs should be 8# or close.
With the controller out of the picture it would appear that there's a leak that's regulating the boost, regardless of the controls applied.
Where are the gates placed?

That makes no sense.. Why would you limit the test to just the compressor hsg?
I'd suggest a smoke test of the entire intake system.
-not uncommon for actual boost pressure to be less than gate pressure especially if placement/ priority is good and back pressure is fairly high.
- 2 gates because of a fully divided hot side ?
- fire rings in gates ?
- I agree that a smoke machine will probably give a better test of the cold or hot sides , can even unbolt the rockers and include the entire intake and gaskets in the test.
- engine size ?
