Default 2007 ls 6.0 questions

I found a 2007 6.0ls and was wanting to turbo it for my chevelle.I currently have a 5.3 turbo in the car and just wanted more torque and power for the heavier car.Im not sure what kind of heads it has on it yet but I do run a cathederal port intake so is it a issue putting 799/706 style heads on this engine.Any info is appreciated and or thoughts..thank you

6.0 is cathederal port as well, id go with the 799/243 verses the 706 but I'm not expert. I just say this because they have smaller ports and chamber volume

What 5.3 do you have in it? The 6.0 will make a little bit more torque on tip in but unless you're standing on the 5.3's neck, just turn your 5.3 up a little. Most guys I see, can run more timing in tip in. Theres a reason why most of the records are 5.3 based. JMO

But if it is a LQ4, I like the 799 heads on those. Keeps enough compression in them and as long as you don't get greedy, they work well.

I have a gen 4 internals 5.3 with 706 heads.I have a stage 2 camshaft and I did a dynopull earlier in the year and had 610hp at 13psi.I currently run the car at 18psi so not sure what the rear wheel hp is at that but assume its close to 700.I just been watching alot of vids and it seems like the 6.0 is 50 more hp at the same levels with alot more torque.I have a full interior 69 chevelle bench seat etc that I run in street class which is dot tire and exhaust behind seats etc.I went 9.80s and 6.2s with a stock 454 and 80mm and I just cant seem to move the car in the beginning with the smaller 5.3s.I was hoping the 6.0 would give me alittle more torque and power across the board.I have made it to 6.3s with the 5.3 and just cracked the 9s but its just alittle softer in the beginning.I was just wanting to see how the 6.0 compares I guess.
