Default Basic Turbo Question?

Hey everyone

I got a 6.0 LS2 I'm planning on turboing. Bought the classic eBay gt45 turbo, planning to go around 600whp or so, staying under 12psi. My question is what is the best way to manage boost for this? For a wastegate setup will a dual 40mm suffice or should I go with a single? Also what is the best way to manage the wastegate pressure? I have a Holley terminator X, so I could use that as the boost controller, but should I use a single or dual solenoid valve setup? Do I actually need a dome pressure sensor? At this low boost level is a higher map sensor needed? Not trying to break the bank too bad on this. Apologies for my ignorance as this will be my first turbo swap.

Thanks
-Coop

Yes, you need a 2bar MAP sensor if you are running up to 15psi of boost. People tune around just using a MAF, but that is a terrible idea. DO NOT try to hook up a bunch of electronic boost controls on your first turbo system until after everything is working in the simplest form possible. This means put it together with nothing controlling boost but the wastegate spring and the vac/boost line running to the gate. Once you know you have a working system you can experiment with whatever boost control you want. There are just way too many things that almost always go wrong on a first build to throw added complexity into the mix.
