Boost reference "Manifold" question.
Things needing Manifold pressure:
1) Fuel pressure regulator, stock GM rail mounted return style regulator.
2) Wastegate Precision, gen2 46mm
3) BOV Huron speed house brand.
4) Pressure switch for boost actuated auxilliary fuel pump.
QUESTION: It's just a OEM plastic intake manifold, any reason NOT to daisy chain up a few cheep chinese plastic 5/16 or 1/4" TEE fittings and fuel /vacuum hose ?
2nd QUESTION BOV springs rated in VACUUM, does this imply that my camshaft selection will dictate spring selection ?
What's a good ballpark for mild near stock cam: TSP .550" Low Lift 208/214 in stock 5.3 ? BOV shipped with zero documentation- Open Box special.
.
Also, whatabout inserting 3/8" Tee fitting, and CHECK valve in both valve cover breather lines? Let PCV work as normal under high vacuum "Cruise" and then when boost starts pushing blowby, let it excess staright through check valves, and blow oil mist down into my frame rails; free rust retardant ?
Make sense, or too hilllbillly ?
