BOV with Procharger Question

Morning Everyone!

We are getting close to finally wrapping up the project for race season and I am thinking I may have overlooked something.

Was originally going to go with the Race Valve with the Procharger and then talking with the fab shop we decided to save a few bucks and have Black Sheep 50mm BOV's on the shelf.

I may be overthinking it but will a BOV work with the Procharger instead of the Race Valve?

Anyone done it? Still give the distinct sound?

BOV needs to be open at idle if that's what you want to use.

Yes, you can use those BOV’s for a ProCharger. Just have to make sure you put a 2psi spring in it. I ran a Tial 50mm BOV on my old ProCharger set up with the 2psi spring with no issues.

Ended up just going with the Procharger Race valve.

Talking to local shops the common difference was they said they flowed better so went that route.

I have used the small black PC valve and worked fine. Back when I ran blowthru carbs we called them surge valves, you would get a surging during cruise w/o one.
