Extended tips don't look too bad on the NA setup. 6 maybe a tad hot? IDK doesn't look like it even fully burned off cad and its not in the threads so I think I'll roll with it.

Sorry. I meant to respond.
I’ve run TR6 in my vette for years. Not to hot at all. They stay nice and clean to boot.

2 years ago I tried 7 heat range semi extended tip resistor plug in the Nova. BKR7E. It’s a gasketed plug but fits fine. I actually modified the ground strap by shortening it to be like their race plugs. Then resent it to sit parallel to the center electrode. I did this based on discussions you and I had about non resistor plugs possibly upsetting the stock ecu.
Ran great. Actually were in the car when I hit the 8.60’s.
I just took them out. I’m lazy when it comes to plug changes. I’m running a Holley Dominator now so back to the 8 heat range race plugs.

good to know. Our track hasn't been open again since I swapped out the extended 8's in the turbo car. I haven't even fired it up since throwing them in. But look fwd to seeing the difference and I'll post up pics. Supposed to be a TNT next weekend.
