Default D1 blew idler

Hey so not sure what happened but I thought I just threw a belt but nope. Got home and belt was in fact shredded but so was the idler/tensioner whatever you'd call it. I bought the car with the procharger on but it's just the basic bracket where I'm just running crank, blower, and the smooth pulley that to tighten the belt you run the bolt down, tighten the idler, then lock the nut. Anyway just to describe the setup to the people with more knowledge than me and can point me in the right way. I need a new pulley now and can't seem to find a replacement unless I'm just missing it. Anyone know what to run or even upgrade to just help with belt slip in general? Thanks in advance!

2000 trans am, manual, ls1, d1sc, 7.6something crank, 3.4 blower, 8 rib

I'd take this time to check all the fasteners involved with the Procharger drive system, another member had the bolt holding the pulley onto the Procharger come loose and destroy the pulley.
Check torque and apply lock-tite where needed.

pretty sure same thing happened to me as the other user. Got my pulley today and I feel like I'm cursed, it's to big. Bob has been extremely helpful per usual. I ordered a 3inch and after talking with him he thinks I need the 2.5 inch so more down time on the car.

You'll be up and running again in no time.
Wanna see cursed, read Tommy's turbo truck build thread on here, that poor guy went through the ringer.

i guess i dont mind too much because im still using the down time on my motor build, just sucks the car season here is coming to a end so I hate missing out. Can't say enough good about Bob. He answered my call at a decently late time last night, emails, and already has a new pulley shipping today.
I might have to do that just to make myself feel better. my worst was about 13 pages of replies from frankscustomtrans or something along those lines. Him and another member basically held my hand and gave me a step by step on rebuilding a 4l60e in my last firebird. I love this site and it's many great members.

I can relate regarding car season; the weather here has turned as well so I've started disassembling the car in preparation for the Haltech and switch to E85 so it's kinda bittersweet lol.
I've never had the pleasure of working with Bob but he's well known and liked here which tells me everything I need to know really.
Couldn't agree more that this site is a fantastic resource with as you said many great members.

I think I still have a couple weeks of the season maybe but we'll see. I understand the bitter sweet. Come winter I'm cutting out the core support because it's bent and that'll be the perfect time to swap the 6.0 in amongst many things.
Bob's my go to with anything procharger related. I found him here because everyone raves about him and it all checks out.
Any problem I have I just type it into Google followed by ls1tech and 99% of the time there's an answer.
