Default How do I get ahold of Rob Raymer?

I have called several times in the last three days and have only gotten a hold of the mechanics. I left several messages for him to call as I'm waiting on parts from him to get my car running. Can Anyone help me out?

He's very hard to get a hold of these days. He will occasionally stop by here late at night (Eastern Time) ... I usually wind up e-mailing him three times and the third message usually gets a response (He gets tons of email and they get lost in the fold I assume) Keep being persistant in your calling of the shop line. Penny (I think I spelled that right) will pickup and answer calls usually if she's there. I have Rob's cell and it's rare if he answers that too. It's all about timing I guess. Sorry I can't be much more help but that's the way it is from my end.

Man I have called that shop up about 6 times within the last two days. I just get ahold of the mechanics. Rob is out sick today is what they told me. All I need is to know where my order is and no one seems to know. I can't get my car running with the ls1 to 6.0 maf adapter.

Ya thats a great idea. Write something bad about him. Dont worry, people who have no clue usually do .

Key is too call Rob around 1ish. Leave a message with Penny. She will get it to Rob. Just call everyday if you dont get a response that usually works .
Rob is hard to get a hold of thats a fact. But if you heard his work schedule you would understand. Be patient with the man.

I've been very patient. Fact is I am being charged for something that was suppossed to be sent 2nd day air. I should have had it friday and no later than monday. I can't be patient when the car is waiting on this part so I can drive it. I just want to know where it is.

I can understand that patience is hard to be hard when your car is out of service while you wait for a part ( especially when it is a small part ). It's only Tuesday. Give it another day or two before you call out the national guard.

I dont seem to have a problem getting ahold of him. All you gotta do is call and leave a message. He is usually at the dyno from what i can tell.

Sorry guys, I was in fact out sick today. I can barely talk and apparently have the Flu. Probably comes from only getting an average of about 4-5 hours sleep a night.

Anyway, Unusual TA, I spoke with you ON THE PHONE last Thursday and told you that the parts you wanted were going out the same day, 2nd Day Air. When I went to ship them, I realized that I was sold out of Volt Booster's, though my computer showed to have one left. So I called Casper's (the manufacturer of the volt booster and the MAF harness) and asked them to drop ship it to you. I assumed you would have gotten by today as I said. Unfortunately, you obviously haven't. If I am back at work tomorrow, I will call to see why. If not, I will call Casper's from home and get it handled.

UnusualTA (I believe your name is Nick), I'm really disappointed that you took this approach to contacting me. Mainly because you conveniently failed to mention that I HAVE spoken with you by phone, COUNTLESS TIMES over the last 2-3 weeks. Have I not? And have I not spent probably a good 2 hours at MINIMUM total on the phone with you discussing the install, tuning, etc, of the turbo kit that you purchased used from someone else? You've ordered $100 worth of parts from me and act like it's the end of the world because I was out sick for one day and you couldn't reach me???

It just amazes me how quickly people I try to help will forget. Just like Transdamit...never a mention of the HOURS I spent on the phone with him trying to help him solve his install and tuning issues. Only a kind "QMP sucks" in his signature as thanks.

Then you got people like 5-leater-eater who just have nothing better to do than start **** with someone they don't even know.

You make a couple dollars selling someone a part and you owe 'em every waking minute of your life. I'm so glad I got into this business.

No you misunderstand once again. I believe it was wednsday that I ordered from you. I called twice friday and NO ONE answered the phone. I called three times on monday only to talk to the mechanics at the shop. I left 3 messages THAT DAY FOR YOU TO CALL. They had told me they had given you the message to return a call back to me. They explained that you were on the dyno and would call me back. I asked if anyone knew the status of my order, they all said ROB IS THE ONLY ONE who deals with them. I then called three times today looking for you and still only got ahold of the mechanics. Why is this the only way I can get a reply from you? If you haven't read above I have no discontent for you as I just want an answer as to what the deal with my parts are. When you order parts and are expected to recieve something is it really too much to ask for a reply? Could you not have called me back and explained the situation to me?? And I have spent well over $100 with you. I bought those $500 mototrons plus the hks bypass valve. Which I found out today that even though you recieved it last monday it still hasn't been credited back to my account. And I do thank you for telling me I could return it with no restocking fee. Does the amount of money one spends with you determine how you treat them? I think you have been more than helpful and professional when I have TALKED to you. I don't see how you can look down on someone who is getting misinformed or not getting the info they need. I asked this here because my car is due to be ready by the end of this week. I also need to know how the intake tubing adapts to the maf itself, as I think my kit is missing a silicone hose. I figured if you weren't getting the messages this would get your attention, since you can't see pm's or emails. I need the adapter to get the car running. This was never a flame intended to you although I feel you are approaching it that way. I will call again tomorrow to see what you found out. I appreciate you taking the time to reply and hope that you hold no grudges against me.

Thanks
Nick
