Help needed ASAP!! Procharger install question
Help needed ASAP!! Procharger install question We made it to the point on our procharger install where you have to pry the pinion up and out of the way of the crank. We removed the 2 pinion bolts, 4 bolts for the traction control unit, and the sway bar, but can't pry the pinion high enough to free it from the bushings. There aren't any additional steps in the ATI manual, it should just pry free, but it won't. The magnacharger instructions have a bunch of steps about removing the wheels, tie rods, rack and pinion, swaybar, do we have to do that? We are in the middle of the install, but cannot continue until we figure out what is holding it.
Did you remove the steering shaft?
I was never able to do it like ATI said and I tried a few times, you will have to remove the tie rod ends, PS hoses from the rack etc and slide it out towards the pass side.
