Default Hobbs switch???

Anyone using one of these? I'm curious where you get them? Cost? And how you have yours hooked up? I'm looking for a way to turn on my second pump when under boost. Thanks for any suggestions.

I got one two weeks ago from this guy :

my paypal is
sales@coolingmist.com I can ship tomorrow morning. You will get in 2-3
days. Let me know if you want the 4-14 psi or the 15-50 psi switch.
total is $23.50 that includes shipping/packaging.

It is a simple little switch. You run power to one connector...power out from the other. tp the 2nd pump relay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742

it looks like that one....exactly. Keep in mind that you need the switch to turn on a relay...it isnt rated for enuff amps to power the pump directly opne day, I will do a write up of how i did mine (2 pumps). It aint that hard but took lots of screwups to get it right

Just incase anyone finds this thread. The switch in question at http://www.coolingmist.com/etail.aspx?pid=09 does not require a relay unless you are drawing more than 15 AMP's. It has normally closed and normally open circuits.

Regards.

mine eventually (2 months) burned up the microswitch....2 weeks later and another. I would now only recommend a real hobbs switch like I got from ATP for 25 buxs.
