Turbo boost controllers: Apexi AVC-R Has anyone ever used it before in a Domestic truck application?
Does anyone know the ECU pin configurations for the NBS GM trucks and suvs? Where would you find the Speed wire, RPM wire, throttle wire, etc.

I haven't used a AVCR on a domestic truck so I can't give you any feedback in that regaurd.
In general, I've never liked the AVCR. It has some features that sound great, but it's just a pain in the ***... mostly if you change your boost stettings regularly. An example would be a cold night, you're going to see more boost so ideally you would want to turn it back down a bit. You have to browse threw menu's to do this.
If you absolutely don't need to control boost by rpm and gear, I would try and find an old school Greddy Profec B. Used they go for about $250. IMO, it's hands down one of the best electronic boost controllers in play.

Thanks for the info.
The thing is, i like how the AVC monitors all the other stuff as well, rpm, speedo, boost, etc. I don't think i'll be changing boost pressure a lot, more like have a couple of presets only.
