Z06 P1SC, cam, bolt ons, methanol.........
First I want to say I will have a video of these pulls up in a day or so.
The car is an 02 Z06, 4800 mi, stock heads/shortblockclutch/trans, mild cam (not sure of the exact specs but likely less than 220 deg on both sides), 4.11 gear, longtubes, methanol injection, and a ATI P1SC 3.85 pulley at 9 psi. We did a Racetronix in tank in addition to the inline booster pump. That Racetronix kit is TOP NOTCH by the way. Very good instructions and all necessary hardware is in there. 93 pump gas and 25 deg of timing, which we pushed it to 28 with NO KR, God bless methanol injection, but only saw 8 extra hp so we backed it off to 25. Anyhow, final numbers were 617 rwhp and 507 rwtq. You will just have to see the dyno graph to appreciate how well tuned this setup is. Jeff Creech did a tremendous job on the tuning. Had it dead nuts in 4 pulls, did 3 more playing with the methanol. Will have the vid up soon, and hopefully a race or two down the road.
The best part is, we arent done with the car. Next year will see a forged stroker, worked heads, cam, and a much bigger blower.

that is a ton of timing.
was it dyno'd on a dynojet or a load bearing dyno?
if it was a dynojet be very carefull on the street and monitor it closely.
i would be suprised if you could get away with that much timing on the street/track.

Dynojet. We ran it on the street with a scan tool hooked up....no KR. It was 70 deg, before it gets really hot again next year it will see a dyno pull or two just to be sure. We tested and retested all the way along....its dead safe. Had 3 different systems monitoring for KR or even the first hint of detonation, and there was none. We even went so far as to unplug the meth, do a pull to 5k just to see. It pulled 2.4 deg KR starting at 4800. Moral of the story is make sure you keep the meth tank full, or dont hit boost.
