i used to keep the overflow behind the driverside fender...... well, i was having an issue nipping a spark plug on every pass... finally figured out that it was a weak solenoid in the injector.... unfortunately, by that time, the head had been lifted already... so on that pass, everything was right and since the head gasket was slightly leaking already, it pressurized the cooling system and INSTANTLY filled the overflow up.. it spewed water out of hte overflow and onto the track.. my left rear tire had no traction and the right one did.... hence, the left hand turn..
since then, i have relocated my overflow into the rear bulkhead next to my fuel cell..
