Default would 150 shot be enough?

We all know the lag problems we face with for races from 'digs' ppl that cut 1.7s NA add on turbos, and they loose .3 or more from their 60s...

so would a 150 shot be enough to make up that power loss for the launch?

or would 100 shot be enough...

this setu will be spraying (wet) just 1st gear til 4000 RPMs and it'll shut off...

They wouldn't lose the 60' if they set the car up right....

A turbo car can easily cut good 60's if they can figure out how to set up their car to build boost off the line. The problem is the majority of cars don't do that. They try and run DRs and leave off idle.

In answer to your question, yes a nice 50-100shot wet kit would easily get you some nasty 60's and take up any slack from turbo lag if all you wanna do is leave off idle. Just remember that nitrous adds more power on a FI car than it would on an N/A car with the same jetting sizes.

If you are talking about street races were you often times don't have the time to build up boost then nitrous would help alot. Or a 2-Step setup like Harlan uses.

i'm one of those ppl that go from idle with DRs...

but my friend with a turbo launched his car at 3500 (auto and turbo obviously) and cut a 2.2 60... the lag is always there i think...

ure right how n2o adds more on a FI car tho... so 150 will prolly be too much, 100 would be still plenty 75 would be good

I know you are, I've seen your posts. I was just givin ya ****.

The stall will help you get enough RPM up to build boost but you still have to give it a little time to build up. I have a 3000stall but it takes me about 4seconds to build up 7psi or so.

This is my first night out with the turbo so it took a lil longer to build up the boost since I didn't know how but as you can see there is no lag once you do.

If you do decide on nitrous I would defiantely plan on using slicks because those DRs are gonna go up in smoke keep us posted, I love seeing results with stuff like you are planning
