Boost guage problems
Boost guage problems The guage reads at idle about 10-12 in.Hg. When I stall the car up I can hear it start to build boost but the guage only goes to 0 lbs. I let off the gas and the turbo will flutter, so I assume it's building boost. The car isn't tuned yet, so I haven't got to really play with the boost while driving but I have seen about 3 lbs on the guage. And again when I let off the turbo will flutter. Is this how it should read or is something wrong. The guage is a Autometer Phantom electric guage. I got the boost source from the nipple on the drivers side of the intake, behind the throttle body. Differant setup than mine! But I have 3gauges sitting here that I had autometer rebuild bc i broke them! I will be ordering the e-boost controler or mybe the MSBC1 boost controler!
your probably only making 3 psi 
it takes a little time to build boost when you foot brake it, and it's normally not full boost before you push past the brakes. If you're only making 3 psi, you probably won't see more than atmosphere (0 psi) when you foot brake it.
