90 Volvo Turbo Issues My inlaws have a 1990 Volvo turbo, a 740 or something like that.
When you say going 50mph and floor it, it will kick down two gears which is normal but it won't boost and the car crawls. It's fine otherwise. The turbo does work, and the boost gauge works too. Any ideas? I was thinking wastegate or the tps sensor? Maybe a vacuum leak? I'll give the winning diagnosis $20.
