installed ati, now car is overheating

installed ati, now car is overheating i also installed the spal dual 11" fans. the fans are working but don't seem to be spinning fast enough. i have a 160 stat and on atap temp went up to 208. my stat might of gone bad but it ran fine the day prior to install. any ideas
Check the fan polarity.... i followed ATI wiring and they had it backwards..... my fan wash pushing when it was sapposed to be sucking... Mine runs at 185 all day long with my FMIC in the way of the radiator and i still have a stock thermo.

I will tell you this, you cannot wire the dual 11" setup directly to the stock relays, you will burn them up because of the amp draw, You need the realy kit that comes from SPAL so that the fans get power from the battery directly.
You will know you have the fans wired right by taking a piece of paper and placing it in front of the radiator. If the paper stays you have it right, check it on both sides of the radiator.
i had the fans wired to the stock wires, granted the wires where modefied like the ATI kit recomended and never had a problem with them.
the wires for the hi/ low settings where joined together ( just like the ATI kit instructed)and then they split in to two for each fan. you might try that, or do it the right way ( and save the wiring harness from being hacked) by doing what bryan said
