STS Turbo intercooler question

I have a 2000 camaro LS1 with an STS turbo kit and I want to up the boost to 7 or 8 psi. I want to run an intercooler as apposed to methanol injection. I was wondering if anyone has done this to thier camaro or firebird and what they used. Right now I am considering an OBX universal intercooler and taking it to a shop that does custom tubing. If anyone has suggestions let me know.

That looks great, but it looks like you cut up the front bumper support. Won't that reduce strength under cornering and in an accident?

Its a lot better than the guys who remove the entire bumper support altogether...which was a popular FMIC mounting method before the cut bumper support was done, at least there is something solid(big thick FMIC) there to "help" the cut bumper support take a hit....trust me when I say the bumper support isn't that impressive at all, I'm glad most of mine is now filled with a crushable thick FMIC, not a 1/8th inch thick stamped piece of metal. My FMIC frame is welded very strong and I have cut my bumper foam like SJH did to add a lil more protection. Its a give and take if you want a FMIC in there.
