man... that sounds pretty nasty. I cant wait to see (semi) final numbers from your STS Dynos. I posted your preliminary numbers from the STS in my home forum, and the doubters havent replied in several days.....

Here is what PurEvl said earlier...

Last monday it went on the dyno but blew a head gasket. Give you an idea my 630hp runs have been on all summer long and plenty of wot runs and never blew. One run with a gt70 at 10 psi and it **** the felpro right out With only 14 degrees timing to start as well. At 9 psi and the old SC cam it absolutely screwed once it made boost but it came on too late for me. So the new cam is in, gm mls gaskets are in. All buttoned up with a big fmic as well. It will be tuned this week and I will post all the numbers. Im starting at 10 psi and going from there. Hoping to make 550-600 rwhp and 650+ tq. We will see. Im willing to push the gt70 to 15psi. Wish me luck Also used to run the d1 with 24 degrees of timing and always had 0 knock but the iat's were 140+ after one run. After about 5 wot street runs with gt70 and fmic they were 78 degrees. Im gonna push the timing into the 20's as well.

On the dyno when it it blew it only had about 4psi but still put down over 500 rwhp and 490ish tq. So tripling the boost and upping the timing from 14 to 20+ outta be good

So far the car feels strong with 8-10 lb's of boost on the street.The timing is set to 20 degree's so far with 0 knock anywhere.As soon as I get a lock on a steady 10lb's and we are happy with the timing/KR which will probly be 22-24 degree's again,it will be on the dyno..Last time it pulled 500hp/490tq with the old cam/hurt gasket and boost going down to 4lbs above 4000rpm.We have added a smaller Cam to get it to peak earlier in hope's to get more midrange torque.

The engine has forged pistons,stock crank-rods,Patriot LQ9 heads,226/220 on 115 Cam and compression is 9.0-9.4-1.Of course the fuel system is more than enough with braided lines,regulator,60lber's.

Sweet, do you think you're pushing the stock rods with more than 600rwhp?

I thought so, but its been 630 all year long, to the track and endless dyno runs and street wot blasts. The rod bolts are the weakness more then the rods themselves. I have arp in there and everything has been balanced.
