I put a set of NGK TR8's in it when the car went together in february. The same set of plugs are in it today.

I do believe the 9.70@149mph is a speed record, but the ET record I think is held by Taner on here with a 9.44.

Jim@Speed Inc. = My Hero, I'm not worthy.

You can hear it start to lose the clutch in 4th gear, that car is flying. Truly amazing and a definate testament to technology, turbos, LT1s and Speed Inc.

I am hoping to be running in the exact same range with my black Trans Am next spring. My main priority is breaching 150mph.

I'm hoping to have Jim tune on my car here before the end of the month or in December.

Thanks guys

That was with 22lbs of boost and through the SLP two on the left exhaust. (The 4in was a little too noisy)

On the next run, I opened the exhaust and turned the boost up, but it completely destroyed the clutch. (the car barely moved.)

Well, Dan trailered it from his house to the track, but driving it home from Dans house was not a fun trip. (Clutch would slip if I came up to a slight grade)

Well, it went 9.6 @ 146 through the 2otl with 22psi boost so I would say it doesn't slow down too bad

congrats again! you are getting it to stick and go! more there to be had! time for a new clutch!

everything happens real fast when the car is pulling that hard! just compensate on your pills if your reaction is slow to the shift light. slap in a new clutch and go back at her! what track is that at? i like that nice decline!

Thanks guys

Taner- I'm done for this year. I'm pulling the driveline out of the car to freshen everything up. Lots of hard miles on her.

The track is Byron Dragway, in Byron Il. It's not really downhill, it is an illusion due to the uphill shutdown area.
