70 hp loss from the flywheel, isn't that about average? 15% loss would be 75. That's not that bad.

Yes, the only upgrades being 2 large inline pumps (not sure on lph of those, check with Paxton if you're interested) which sit under the hood in plain sight, very cool looking. I know you can aaaallllllmost watch the gas gauge move down when you get on it. Id guess 4 mpg when your "driving" that car.

I too was a bit disappointed at the stock hp, but the stock tq was quite impressive. But for a car rated 500 fly hp, 15% loss is 425 rwhp, so thats almost spot on. Can't really complain there.

I just spoke with the customer about 2 hours ago, he got to go drive the car today for the first time (raining yesterday when i delivered it back). He was floored. Couldnt belive how "incredible" his "new toy" was. Makes this job all the better to hear things like that.

AH ok my bad i thought they were 550hp stock
I can only imagine the fun and torque of a stock viper, let alone one that is highly amplified with a paxton! it must be one VERY insane experience, i envy the owner

Thank you. I think of the car as sort of "my own" in a way. Cars like that, you work on them and it comes out that well, they have a way of growing on you.

Tell you guys a neat little quirk of that car (or owner really). Notice in the intro a Corsa exhaust is listed. Notice in the video no beautiful, hand polished stainless steel trademark Corsa tips. The customer, not wanting to take away from the wheels or overall "blackness" of the car, had me to send them out to be first ceramic and then powder coated to match the car. In some sick way, that is really a neat touch.
