Default Update on the ATI 8 rib setup.

We got 535rwhp 482rwtq before at 6K RPM with 7psi and ran out of fuel above 5500rpm. Anyways we swaped the 42lbs with 60lbs injectors and tuned the car today. We took it all the way to 6700rpm and it made 8psi and put down 555rwhp 502rwtq with 20 degree of timing and 12.0 AF with no knock. After that we took 1 degree out and added fuel (11.5 all the way and drops to low 11's after 6Krpm) and it did put down 548rwhp 499rwtq. All in all im pretty happy with the results since this car only have ATI 8rib, FM7 cam, FLP headers and hooker exhaust running through 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears and 3" Steel DS.
Here is the dyno to compare the best cam only run to the SC with 8psi and 8.8 rear end/3" Steel DS as the only things changed. http://www.msnusers.com/CarsRelatedG...oto&PhotoID=59

We also tried the cutout on the dyno today and it only made 10rwhp more and 2rwtq more. I dont think its worth opening for that much HP and TQ.

Can't wait to run this car on Friday

So what do you guys think about adding a ported TB and 1 7/8 headers to this car?

I doubt that my car will gain that much out of the larger headers. With the open cutout we gain 10rwhp and 3rwtq only.
